Lionel Richie: Tuskegee

Bad Ass

Lionel Richie: Tuskegee
………………………………….

I’ve been looking forward to a Lionel album since his 2009 flop Just Go. The strategy was to get big country names to duet some of his biggest hits. I was unsure of the tactic until I heard the album. In the words of a wise man, “It’s pretty bad ass. That’s just me.” …and the album is pretty ‘bad ass’ if you’re a Lionel fan, which I’m proud to say I am.  Although there isn’t any new material, I’m more than pleased with new versions of the ‘ol time good stuff.  So far, this is the best album of 2012. It’ll be hard to beat unless Neil Diamond comes out with a collaboration of his own… God, that’d be ‘bad ass’. Please Lord, allow Neil to live forever! Amen
